How To Disable Anti-Cheat On Your 7 Days To Die Server

This guide explains how to disable EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) on your 7 Days To Die server and game client. Disabling EAC is required for most 7 Days To Die mods to work properly.

Disabling EAC On Your Server

  1. Log in to the GhostCap Panel and Stop your 7 Days To Die server.
  2. In the sidebar, navigate to Server Options.
  3. Under Advanced, change EAC (Easy Anti Cheat) to false.
  4. Start your server.
Note

Players connecting to your server must also have EAC disabled on their game client to connect.

Disabling EAC On Your Game Client

  1. Open Steam.
  2. Go to Library.
  3. Click Play on 7 Days to Die.
  4. Select Launch game without EAC.

Re-enabling The Launch Prompt

If the launch option doesn't appear after clicking play:

  1. Open Steam.
  2. Go to Library.
  3. Right-click 7 Days to Die and select Properties.
  4. Under General, locate Selected Launch Option and set it to Ask when starting game.
  5. Click Play on 7 Days to Die and choose the no-EAC option.
