How to Update Your BeamMP Server - Beammp Guide

The BeamMP client and server receive updates independently, so newer clients can still connect to older server versions. Check your server's version in the console when it starts and compare it to the latest release here.

Updating Your BeamMP Server

Here is how you can update your BeamMP server to the latest version:

Access the GhostCap Panel and Stop your BeamMP server.
In the sidebar, go to Server Options.
Ensure BeamMP Server Version is set to latest, then click Save.
Go to Advanced > Server Actions and click Reinstall Server. In the Reinstall Server? window, enable Backup Before Reinstall, leave Wipe All Files off to preserve your mods and maps, then click Yes, Reinstall Server.
Start your server.

Note

Changing the BeamMP Server Version setting on its own does not update the server. The reinstall is what downloads the new version. Reinstalling keeps your configuration, mods, and maps; only the server executable is replaced.

You can check that the latest version has been installed, as the version number will have changed in the server console.
