How to Upload Your Existing Conan Exiles Server Save

Step-by-step guide on how to upload your save file to your Conan Exiles dedicated server.

In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of uploading an existing world to your Conan Exiles server.

You may also refer to this guide on how to upload files to your game server.

Note

Things to note before getting started:

  • This will delete or overwrite any progress you have made on the server.
  • If you need to install mods with your save, they can be added following this guide. This guide assumes that your save isn't modded.
  • If your save isn't on the default map, you will have to change the map on your server. Our guide for this can be found here.

Locating Your Local Conan Exiles Save File

  1. Open your Steam Library, right-click Conan Exiles, and select Manage > Browse Local Files.
  2. Enter the ConanSandbox/Saved folder.
  3. Copy your world.db file.

Uploading Your Conan Exiles Save to Your Server

A save on the default map will be named game.db, while other maps will have different names. For Isles of Siptah, your save will be named DLC_Siptah.db.

  1. Log in to the GhostCap Panel and stop your server.
  2. In the sidebar, go to File Manager.
  3. Once there, navigate to the ConanSandbox/Saved folder.
  4. Delete the existing game.db, game.db-wal, and game.db-shm files, then upload your existing game.db file to your server.
  5. Start your server.
