How to Upload Your Existing Enshrouded Server Save

Step-by-step guide for uploading your local Enshrouded world and player save files to your dedicated server.

This will overwrite any existing progress on the server.

Backing Up Your Local Enshrouded Save File

  1. Open your Steam games library, right-click Enshrouded, and select Manage > Browse Local Files.
  2. Go back to Steam > userdata > (RandomNumbers) > 1203620 > Remote.
  3. Copy the most recent file (usually named 3ad85aea) to a safe location.

                    └── 3ad85aea  (The name is important!)

Tip

Usually has the name 3ad85aea if you only have one world.

Upload Your Enshrouded Save to Your Server

  1. Log in to the GhostCap panel and stop your Enshrouded server.
  2. In the sidebar, go to File Manager.
  3. Navigate to the savegame folder.
  4. Delete the existing save files.
  5. Upload your local save files. (Make sure the local save is renamed to 3ad85aea on the server if it has a different name.)
  6. Start your Enshrouded server.
