How to Change Your Factorio Server Name

Learn how to change your server hostname on your Factorio dedicated server.

This is what you do if you need to change your server name on your Factorio server, also referred to as a hostname. This is what is displayed to players in the server browser.

Changing Your Factorio Server Name

  1. Log into your GhostCap panel and select your server.
  2. In the sidebar, go to Startup Parameters.
  3. Find the Server Name setting and enter your desired server name.
  4. Restart your server.
