How To Install Mods On Your Hytale Server

This is how to install mods on your Hytale server. You can find mods from CurseForge.

Danger

Always back up your world manually before installing any mods! Hytale is in early access and loading plugins is currently unsupported and may cause stability issues.

Installing Mods Using Plugin Browser (Recommended)

  1. Access the GhostCap Panel and stop your Hytale server.
  2. In the sidebar, go to Tools > Plugin Browser.
  3. Find your desired mod and click Install.
  4. Start your server.

Installing Mods Manually

If you prefer to install mods manually, you can download them from CurseForge and upload them directly.

  1. Download the mods you want from CurseForge. Mods come as .zip or .jar files.
  2. Log in to the GhostCap Panel and Stop your Hytale server.
  3. Go to File Manager and navigate to the /mods folder.
  4. Upload your mod files (.zip or .jar) to the /mods folder.
  5. Start your server.
Tip

Only install one mod at a time and test it to make sure it works. If it doesn't, remove the files from your server before trying another mod.
