Getting administrator (OP) privileges on your Minecraft server is straightforward and essential for most server management tasks. With admin permissions, you'll be able to manage players, switch to creative mode, and access all the server controls you need.
Make Yourself (Or Someone) A Server OP/Admin
- Log in to the GhostCap Panel and select your Minecraft server.
- Go to
Console. - Type
op username(for example:op Floppychicken45). - Connect to your server.
Removing A Server OP/Admin
- Log in to the GhostCap Panel and select your Minecraft server.
- Go to
Console. - Type
deop username.
Note
username is the name the player uses in-game on their Minecraft account, not their display name or nickname.
