Getting administrator (OP) privileges on your Minecraft server is straightforward and essential for most server management tasks. With admin permissions, you'll be able to manage players, switch to creative mode, and access all the server controls you need.
Follow these steps to grant yourself admin access on your Minecraft server.
Make Me (Or Someone) A Server OP/Admin
- Login to the Ghostcap Panel and select your minecraft server
- Go to console
- Type
op username(For example:op Floppychicken45) Just without the quotes - Connect to your server
Removing A Server OP/Admin
- Login to the Ghostcap Panel and select your minecraft server
- Go to console
- Type
deop username
Please Note - When we say username, we mean the name you or someone you want to make OP/Admin uses ingame.
