How To Change Your Minecraft Server Java Version - Minecraft Guide

By default, the GhostCap Panel will detect what version of Java you need. However, some modpacks will require you to use a specific version of Java, otherwise they won't start. Here's how to change the Java version on your Minecraft server.

Changing Java Version

Access the GhostCap Panel and select your Minecraft server.
Navigate to Server Options in the sidebar.
Locate the Java Version setting and choose your desired version.
Start your server.

Tip

You can change the Java version at any time without affecting anything on your server.
