Important Files to Backup
Always backup both:
- World save files - Located in
Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/[Your Save File]/
- PalWorldSettings.ini - Located in
Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/
(orWindowsServer/
) - WorldOption.sav (if used) - Located in your save folder
Note: WorldOption.sav overrides ini settings. If you use it, backup both files to preserve your configuration.
For large save files, use SFTP for faster uploads. Recovery Mode handles all operations automatically.
