How To Change Building Limits On Your Palworld Server - Palworld Guide

This guide demonstrates the process for adjusting building limits on your Palworld server, including server-wide and per-player restrictions and area-based constraints.

Changing Building Limits

Access the GhostCap Panel and Stop your server.
Navigate to Server Options in the sidebar.
Modify MaxBuildingLimitNum, MaxBuildingLimitNumPerPlayer and BaseCampMaxNum under the Bases & Guilds section.
Update bBuildAreaLimit in the Advanced section.
Restart your server.

Note

MaxBuildingLimitNum caps the total number of buildings across the entire server (0 = unlimited). Since Palworld 1.0.4 this is a global limit rather than a per-player one.
MaxBuildingLimitNumPerPlayer caps the number of buildings each individual player can place (0 = unlimited).
BaseCampMaxNum establishes the maximum base camps for the entire server.
bBuildAreaLimit prohibits building near structures such as fast travel points.
