This guide covers how to connect to your Palworld server from PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
PC Players
- Access the GhostCap Panel and select your Palworld server.
- Copy the server IP address from the sidebar.
- Open Palworld.
- In the connection field (showing
127.0.0.1:8211), replace it with your server IP. - Click
Connect.
Console Players (Xbox & PlayStation)
Connecting from Xbox or PlayStation requires using the in-game server browser.
- Access the GhostCap Panel and
Stopyour Palworld server. - Navigate to
Startup Parameters. - Set a unique server name that's easy to remember.
- Save and
Restartyour server. - Wait 60 seconds for your server to appear in the browser.
- Open Palworld and select
Join Multiplayer Game. - Choose
Community Servers. - Enable
Display servers with different versions. - Search for your server name.
- Click
Connect.
Tip
You can also connect using your server IP address instead of searching by name.
Troubleshooting
If your server doesn't appear in the server browser, try these steps in order and test after each one:
- Set a unique server name - make it distinct and memorable.
Restartyour server and wait 60 seconds.- Enable
Display servers with different versionsin the server browser. - Make sure you're searching in the
Community Serverstab, not other tabs. - Simplify your server name by removing special characters.
- Fully restart Palworld (close and reopen the game).
- Try connecting using the IP address directly instead of searching by name.
