How To Enable Hardcore Mode On Your Palworld Server - Palworld Guide

This guide demonstrates the process of activating hardcore mode on your Palworld server. When enabled, this feature implements permanent death mechanics for players and, optionally, for Pals.

Enabling Hardcore Mode

Access the GhostCap Panel and Stop your server.
Navigate to Server Options using the sidebar menu.
Locate the Player section and set bHardcore to True to activate permanent player death.
In the Pals section, optionally change bPalLost to True for permanent Pal death mechanics.
Restart your server.

Caution

With these settings enabled, characters and Pals will be permanently lost when they die.

Tip

Players can enable bCharacterRecreateInHardcore to permit new character creation following a hardcore mode death, providing an alternative to permanent character loss.
