This guide demonstrates how to activate PvP functionality on your Palworld server, which enables competitive player-versus-player combat.

Enabling PvP

  1. Access the GhostCap Panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Server Options in the sidebar.
  3. Enable these three required settings:
    • bIsPvP = True
    • bEnablePlayerToPlayerDamage = True
    • bEnableDefenseOtherGuildPlayer = True
  4. Start your server.

What Changes When PvP Is Enabled

According to PocketPair's official documentation, PvP activation produces these changes:

  • Players can damage one another.
  • Hostile Pals trigger when entering opposing player bases.
  • Enhanced damage against airborne and mounted creatures.
  • Reduced damage affecting summoned and stationary base Pals.
  • Cross-guild chest access becomes available.
  • Diminished melee effectiveness against structures owned by other players.
