How To Reset A Character On Your Palworld Server

This guide explains how to reset your character on your Palworld server using Palworld Save Tools, so you can start over with a fresh character. If you'd instead prefer to reset your entire server, see our Reset Server guide.

Downloading Your Save

Here's how to prepare:

1. Log in to the GhostCap Panel and Stop your server.
2. In the sidebar, go to File Manager and navigate to Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/YourSaveFile.
3. Download your Level.sav file and the Players folder.
4. Extract the downloaded files on your PC.

Deleting Your Character

After downloading your save files, here's how to delete your character.

Required Tools

Install Palworld Save Tools before proceeding, and make sure it's up to date:

1. Open Palworld Save Tools and import your downloaded Level.sav file.
2. Click Players in the sidebar, then right-click the character you want to delete and select Delete Player.
3. Click Menu > File > Save Changes.
4. Upload the updated Players folder and Level.sav file to your server again, replacing the existing files.
5. Start your server.
