How To Reset Your Palworld Server - Palworld Guide

Here's how you can reset your Palworld server to begin completely fresh with a new save. This is useful if you've made a mistake that can't be undone.

Resetting Your Server

Use this only as a last resort. If you continue having issues, reach out to GhostCap support. We're here to assist you.

Log in to the GhostCap Panel and select your server.
In the sidebar, select Advanced > Server Actions > Reinstall Server.
A Reinstall Server? window will open. Enable Backup Before Reinstall and Wipe All Files, then click Yes, Reinstall Server. Here's what each option does:
- Wipe All Files: deletes all existing files before reinstalling, giving you a completely fresh start. This won't touch anything stored in your Backups.
- Backup Before Reinstall: creates a backup before the reinstall runs. We strongly recommend keeping this enabled.
- Start Server after Reinstall: automatically starts your server once the reinstall finishes.
You'll be taken to the console, where you can watch the server reinstall.
