How To Set Your Palworld Server Description

Add a description that appears when players view your server in the browser

The server description displays when players select your server in the community browser, offering additional details about your server's features, rules, or playstyle.

Setting Server Description

  1. Access the GhostCap Panel and stop your Palworld server.
  2. Navigate to Startup Parameters.
  3. Locate ServerDescription under the Basic section.
  4. Enter your description. Keep it concise for best visibility.
  5. Save your changes and start your server.

Description Best Practices

  • Keep it under 200 characters for optimal visibility.
  • Mention key features such as PvP/PvE, modded, rates, etc.
  • Include any important rules or requirements.
  • Avoid special characters that may not render correctly.
