How To Set Up Soulmask Cross Map Server Travel (Shifting of Sands)

Learn how to link multiple Soulmask servers together for cross map travel between the original Cloud Mist Forest map and the Shifting of Sands DLC map.

With the release of the Shifting of Sands DLC, Soulmask now supports cross map server clusters. This allows players on your Soulmask server to travel between Cloud Mist Forest and the new Shifting of Sands desert map hosted on separate servers. Here's how to set it up.

Caution

Cross map travel requires two or more Soulmask servers. Existing character data will NOT transfer between maps once this feature is enabled.

Configuring The Main Server

  1. Access the GhostCap Panel and Stop your main Soulmask server.
  2. In the sidebar, go to Server Options.
  3. Under Multi-Map, set Set Cross Server Travel Type to Main Server.
  4. Set a unique Server ID.
  5. Note down your main server's IP address and Main Server Port, you will need to combine these for the child server.
  6. Start your server. Once it has started, enter Set_Coefficient KaiQiKuaFu 1 into the console to enable cross-server travel.

Example Main Server Settings:

SettingValue
Set Cross Server Travel TypeMain Server
Server ID4091
Main Server Port27015

Configuring A Child Server

With your main server up and running, you can now link your secondary server to the cluster.

  1. Access the GhostCap Panel and Stop your child Soulmask server.
  2. In the sidebar, go to Server Options.
  3. Under Multi-Map, set Set Cross Server Travel Type to Child Server.
  4. Set a unique Server ID that is different from the main server.
  5. Set Main Server IP to your main server's IP address and Main Server Port. Example: 192.168.50.12:27015
  6. If you're using a server password, ensure it matches the password on your main server.
  7. Start your server.

Example Child Server Settings:

SettingValue
Set Cross Server Travel TypeChild Server
Server ID7253
Main Server IP192.168.50.12
Note

We strongly recommend setting a server password when running a cross map cluster. The password must be identical across all servers in the cluster.
