How To Upload An Existing StarRupture Save To Your Server

This guide walks you through uploading an existing world save file to your StarRupture server.

Finding Your Local StarRupture Save File

1. Open your Steam library, right-click StarRupture, and select Manage → Browse Local Files.
2. Navigate to Steam → userdata → (Your Steam ID) → 1631270 → remote → Saved → SaveGames.
3. Copy the desired save folder (contains .met and .sav files).

Uploading Your Save To Your Server

1. Access the GhostCap Panel and Stop your StarRupture server.
2. Go to File Manager in the sidebar.
3. Navigate to /StarRupture/Saved/SaveGames and create folders if needed.
4. Upload your local save folder.
5. Rename the .met and .sav files to AutoSave0.met and AutoSave0.sav.
6. Go to Server Options in the sidebar.
7. Set Session Name to match your uploaded folder name and enable Load Saved Game.
8. Start your server.
