In this guide you will learn how to enable crossplay on your Valheim server. This will allow you to play with players on PC Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The Valheim 1.0 Deep North update, released on September 9, 2026, brought the game to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 and added full crossplay between every platform.
Danger
Enabling this option will route all traffic through Microsoft's servers meaning you will have increased latency/ping. You also cannot disable crossplay after it is enabled otherwise you will no longer be able to connect to your server. Please reach out to GhostCap support to resolve this if you have accidentally enabled it.
Enabling crossplay
- Log in to the GhostCap Panel.
- In the sidebar, go to
Server Options. - Under
Advanced, enablecrossplay. - Restart your server.
