This guide will show you how to completely reset your Vintage Story server and begin with a fresh world. This process is useful when you need to start over due to irreversible changes or world corruption.
Resetting Your Server
Caution
Use this option only when necessary. If you're encountering persistent problems, reach out to GhostCap support for help troubleshooting your server.
- Access the GhostCap Panel and select your Vintage Story server.
- Go to
File Managerand remove all folders and files to empty the directory completely. - Navigate to
Configuration>Server Actionsin the sidebar. - Select
Reinstall Serverand allow the installation process to finish.
Once complete, your server will launch with a brand new world.
