Account security is critical, and GhostCap takes it seriously. Two-factor authentication (2FA) strengthens your account protection by adding a second verification layer when you log in, making unauthorized access much more difficult.
Before you begin:
- Download an authenticator app on your phone (we recommend Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).
- After setup, logging in will require both your password and a code from your authenticator app.
- Keep your backup codes somewhere safe—you'll need them if you lose access to your authenticator.
Setting Up 2FA
- Login to the Billing Portal.
- Navigate to the Security Settings page.
- Under the "Two-Factor Authentication" section, click
Enable. - Scan the QR code with your authenticator app or manually enter the provided key.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app to confirm setup.
- Save the backup codes displayed on the screen to a secure location.
- Click
Finish Setupto complete the process.
Once 2FA is active, you'll enter a code from your authenticator app every time you sign in, giving your GhostCap account an extra layer of protection against unauthorized access.
