Enable 2 Factor Authentication (2FA)

Account security is critical, and GhostCap takes it seriously. Two-factor authentication (2FA) strengthens your account protection by adding a second verification layer when you log in, making unauthorized access much more difficult.

Before you begin:

• Download an authenticator app on your phone (we recommend Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).
• After setup, logging in will require both your password and a code from your authenticator app.
• Keep your backup codes somewhere safe—you'll need them if you lose access to your authenticator.

Setting Up 2FA

1. Login to the Billing Portal.
2. Navigate to the Security Settings page.
3. Under the "Two-Factor Authentication" section, click Enable.
4. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app or manually enter the provided key.
5. Enter the 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app to confirm setup.
6. Save the backup codes displayed on the screen to a secure location.
7. Click Finish Setup to complete the process.

Once 2FA is active, you'll enter a code from your authenticator app every time you sign in, giving your GhostCap account an extra layer of protection against unauthorized access.
