How to Change the Version of Your Conan Exiles Server

This is how to change the version of your Conan Exiles server. Use this guide to switch to the conan-exiles-legacy branch if you want to play the pre-Enhanced version of Conan Exiles, where the Isle of Siptah map is a separate server from the Exiled Lands, and to use older mods.

Danger

Changing your Conan Exiles server version risks corrupting saves and breaking mods. We recommend creating a backup before proceeding.

Changing Steam Beta Version

Access the GhostCap Panel and Stop your server.
Open Settings.
Under Advanced, edit Steam Beta Branch with the branch name you want to use (a list of branch names is below).
Click Save only to save without restarting your server.
Click Reinstall in the top-right, choose Format (keep settings), then click Format + reinstall. This deletes all of your server's files to ensure a clean install when downgrading, so create a backup first if you want to keep your save.
