How to Reset Your Enshrouded Server

Learn how to perform a complete reset of your Enshrouded server to start fresh with a new save. This is useful when you need to undo changes that can't be reversed.

Resetting Your Server

1. Log in to the GhostCap Panel and select your Enshrouded server.

2. In the sidebar, select Advanced > Server Actions > Reinstall Server.

3. A Reinstall Server? window will open. Enable Backup Before Reinstall and Wipe All Files, then click Yes, Reinstall Server. Here's what each option does:

   • Wipe All Files: deletes all existing files before reinstalling, giving you a completely fresh start. This won't touch anything stored in your Backups.
   • Backup Before Reinstall: creates a backup before the reinstall runs. We strongly recommend keeping this enabled.
   • Start Server after Reinstall: automatically starts your server once the reinstall finishes.

4. You'll be taken to the console, where you can watch the server reinstall.
